Field day Event 22 June 2023

Our first annual workshop and field day was held at Massey University’s Sport and Rugby Institute and at Dairy No 4 farm, where over 60 participants came to learn about improving waterways on farms. The attendees engaged with practical demonstrations of water quality testing, stream health assessment, and presentations on innovative drain designs, tools to map critical flow pathways from farmland, and potential solutions to prevent contaminant runoff. In the afternoon there was a visit to a newly constructed woodchip bioreactor to help treat drainage water. See below for the photos, videos and PowerPoint presentations from the day.
